The lectures deal with basics of radioactivity and radiochemistry including historical aspects. Basics and prerequisites of tracer techniques using radioactivity are clarified and radioactivity measurement techniques are presented. Furthermore, production and use of radionuclides is discussed, including use in synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals.
