• Intellectual property rights provide protection to innovations regardless of having taken place within the context of a corporation or the university. Researchers will learn how to make use of the copyright system and its boundaries, especially when teaching and making use of databases. This course aims at teaching researchers about good practices and the copyright system. 
    This one day course has two parts, Part I refers to the general aspects of copyright related to teaching and research, and Part II refers to the more specialised part in terms of open data and licensing.
