On this course, popular themes and genres of recent Nordic
documentary are discussed in relation to issues of documentary film
research, touching the ethics, aesthetics, politics and poetics of
documentary. Students also have the possibility to participate in a
practice-based workshop where they get more acquainted with editing and
montage within the documentary practice and make their own short
documentary.
