After this course, students have a deeper knowledge of the terminology used in medical texts and are able to recognize and understand the most common terms. Furthermore, they are aware of how medical affixes combine to form meaning and have developed strategies for reading and note-taking. In addition, students have learned digital strategies to facilitate their medical studies in English.
The course is based on a Pass/Fail and comprise five contact lessons in Zoom and a final exam.
