Objectives
After passing the proteomics course, the student holds theoretical know-how on the principles of proteomic analysis and understands how the different methodologies of mass spectrometry can be applied in scientific research. The student also gains transferrable skills, including presentation skills and team work skills, as well as practical skills in protein extraction, purification, quantification, gel-based separation methods and detection.
