The course will contribute to the deepening knowledge of the USSR’s history and the literature in the field of sovietology. The course aims to develop essential aspects of research work such as the ability to critically assess works of historical research, identify the methodology used, the point of view, potential biases, as well as their contribution to certain trends in historiography. Participants will also learn to accurately convey their ideas in oral and written forms as well as to use various databases for literature.
