Objectives
In this course, students will learn to conceptualize and differentiate North American Studies as a transdisciplinary field of study that is distinct from academic disciplines. Upon completion of this course, students will be familiar with basic terminology and debates related to the transdisciplinary, multi-methodological, and geographic development of the field of North American Studies. They will also have a basic understanding of phenomenon-based learning as a foundation for their thematic courses.
