This course provides an overview of the new possibilities that digital
methods provide for scholars in social sciences. It is meant for persons
who do not have prior knowledge of computer-assisted methods. The
course explains the basic concepts, introduces common sources of digital
data, and how they could be used to ask new questions. It also provides
examples of how the methods have been applied in different disciplines
in social sciences.
