Objectives
Course provides students with focused presentations on some ethical issues in Nordic societies. The topics covered in the course include ethics of securitization, military ethics, climate ethics, bioethics and ethics of special education. The focus is especially on the ethics questions relating to societal arrangements and issues in Nordic welfare state regimes. Some special attention is given to issues and viewpoints that are currently publicly debated in Finland.
