Objectives
The aim of the seminar series is to present widely the medical research projects in progress in the University of Turku. The research projects introduced will cover science that applies basic science to a clinical issue or investigates a clinical problem at a mechanistic level. This will provide an opportunity for students and researchers already at early stage to consider ways to integrate their laboratory and clinical training to become a future physician-scientist.
After the course, students are able to:
* Identify research topics and seminar series in medicine in University of Turku
* Describe research questions and experimental set ups used to answer these question
* Describe common schemes for scientific oral presentation
