Objectives
By the end of the study module, students will be able to:
- Understand the key concepts of bioinformatics methods in drug discovery
- Run a basic data analysis workflow for sequencing data
- Use databases available on the internet that link genome-level information to atom-detailed interaction data
- Produce protein sequence alignments, and explain how sequence differences can be reflected in protein structure and function, for example, how the differences affect the ability to bind drug molecules
-Independently produce research results, which are based on topics covered during the course
