Objectives
The students will
• have knowledge about the principles of academic writing for scientific publication
• gain confidence in reporting study results in scientific journals
• able to understand the writing process from the start to publication
• have the ability to construct the sections of scientific articles
• be able to select the publication forum
• know the peer-review evaluation process
• understands the ethical principles of scientific writing
The purpose is to learn the principles of academic writing for scientific publication and gain confidence in reporting study results in scientific journals. This includes the writing process, sections of scientific articles, selection of publication forum, tips for writing, getting familiar with the peer review evaluation process, and ethical principles of scientific writing. During the course, students prepare their own scientific manuscript which will be discussed in workshops.
