Objectives
Students will learn the general Japanese history from prehistory to the present and acquire a comprehensive introduction to the key issues of contemporary Japanese society. Upon completion of this course students have acquired skills in handling information encompassing expansive time frames, analysing historical documents and academic English reading and writing skills. Students also learn communicative skills through class discussions.
