Objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies starting from experimental planning to genome scale data assembly and data analysis. This course will teach the basics of typical NGS protocols currently used in genetics, ecology and evolution research. Students will become familiar with the nature of data produced by these technologies and will learn ways to excavate biologically relevant information to address a wide range of scientific questions.
