A bachelor's thesis is the final thesis of a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration. When working on a bachelor's thesis, the student independently acquires, evaluates and reports information and practices his presentation and discussion skills, such as acting an opponent. During the course, a bachelor's thesis is prepared and presented. The bachelor's thesis is mainly based on existing source material.

The course creates a foundation for the advanced studies thesis work. The bachelor’s thesis work is very intensive and requires active participation from the students. Participation in the group meetings is obligatory. In the event of force majeure, students have to contact the supervisor in advance, and the supervisor may require written extra assignments.

After completing the course, the student can independently write, comment on, and evaluate scientific text in his field. He knows how to critically select research material and materials relevant to his research topic and to analyze and interpret existing scientific information. The student knows how to conclude from the information he has collected, justify his conclusions, and present orally and report in writing the implementation and results of his research. He knows how to discuss the topic under discussion in the group and gives constructive feedback that promotes the work of others.

The goal is achieved by preparing research reports and discussing them with students. In the groups, we learn about the constructive critical discussion and opposition that are part of conducting research. The course creates a foundation for thesis work in advanced studies. The course uses goal-oriented learning assessment methods. In addition, each student prepares or updates their learning plan (HOPS).
