Objectives
The course offers an introduction to central social life, institutions and cultural patterns of Finnish society. On completion of the course, students
- are familiar with key societal and cultural developments of Finnish society
- recognize theories associated with these developments
- are familiar with recent research on Finnish society
The essay will allow students to familiarize themselves with and deepen their knowledge about a specific subject area of Finnish society.
