Objectives

By the end of this course, students should be able:
- to understand concept of cultural memory,
- to identify different ways cultural memory influences written law, law-making process and enforcement,
- to identify different ways law and regulation influence cultural memory,
- to recognize challenges social acceleration poses in this context,
- to study the interplay between law and cultural memory using different methods and theoretical perspectives

In addition, by the end of the course, the students are expected to acquire following generic competences: effective communication and presentation skills, strategic thinking i.e. drawing conclusions from observations, argument building; extended thinking: making connections between related concepts.
