The aim of this course is to encourage students to express themselves creatively in writing English. During the course, the students will learn composition, process writing and analytical criticism. This will be achieved by producing own original material (a text portfolio of short stories, poetry and a learning journal), discussing each other’s texts in class, processing the texts on the basis of the feedback, and familiarizing oneself with the approaches to creative writing and publishing. Participation includes fortnightly exercises, small group tasks, discussions of texts, a personal learning journal, and background material research.
