Objectives

The student deepens her/his knowledge about the biological and computational basis of speech and language. She learns about the computational principles that guide speech production, and understands the neural correlates of speech from the point-of-view of classical and modern models of speech production. She also learns about the computational and neural basis of disordered speech, and the development of our ability to speak.

These learning outcomes belong to the following main categories in “Learning outcomes of the graduate speech and language therapist”: 1. Knowledge, information processing and critical thinking, and 2. Research and developing the field.
