Objectives
The course is designed to prepare students’ academic study, professional development, and competence cultivation for the study in the programme. The students will
- be familiar with the scope, curriculum structure, and competence development in EdLearn programme, and the faculty research project
- understand the significance of the personal learning plan and be responsible for developing, updating, and implementing the personal learning plan
- develop and apply the basic skills of learning management, self-regulated learning, and critical & reflective thinking in their programme studies
- acquire, apply, and transfer the academic reading skills, including the literature search, reading strategies, information organizing, and critical reading in the digital learning environment
- recognize the diversity in the community and analyze their own strengths and challenges during the progress in their studies
- utilize the learning opportunities, and community supports available to them
