Tavoitteet

This course is a continuation of EAST0143 Lower-intermediate Korean I. Students improve their communicative skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing learned in the basic course. They can perform basic communication necessary for daily life and also understand Korean culture. They are able to read easy stories and write short texts on their own interests.

Through various instructional materials, students will deepen their understanding of lower-intermediate level grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, reading, listening, writing, and culture. Students will be able introduce their house and living environment, talk about food and cooking, deepen their knowledge on the usage of honorific language etc.

This course corresponds to level A2.1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for languages) and levels 1-2 of TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean).
