Objectives
The goal of this class is to give students an understanding in three areas: 1) the different historical meanings of reproduction, 2) reproduction as a cause in the mobilization of social movements, and 3) the role of reproductive matters in the cultural and political life in the U.S. In this class, students will be able to gain some experience collecting and analyzing materials on reproductive matters and to practice their critical reading, writing, and discussion skills.
