Objectives
The learning objectives of this course include 1) a critical and reflective view on the connections of business and sustainability, 2) acquisition of relevant academic insights into the area and 3) understanding of select methods with which the transformation towards genuinely sustainable business can be achieved.
1) The participants will gain an understanding of the systemic and historically rooted nature of the relationship between business and environment. Understanding the root causes enables the participants to explore impactful alternatives to organising business in a more sustainable way.
2) The participants will gain familiarity with relevant and timely academic discussions perusing the possibilities, barriers and drivers of genuinely sustainable business.
3) The participants will learn analytical methods that facilitate seeking for sustainability solutions in diverse contexts.
