Objectives
The course is designed to foster the professional development of students in instructional design. Students are expected to:
• Understand the nature and system of instructional design and its applications in various educational and training contexts.
• Be able to identify and apply different learning theories and methodologies to design effective instructional materials.
• Be able to analyze learner characteristics, the learning environment, and content requirements to inform design decisions.
• Be able to utilize tools and technologies to create interactive learning experiences.
• Be able to plan and execute implementation strategies for instructional materials.
• Be able to design and conduct formative and summative evaluations to assess the effectiveness of instructional materials and inform decisions for continuous improvement.
• Develop project management skills specific to instructional design projects.
