It covers traditional, advanced, and emerging methods, mechanical, thermal, and coating-based, along with their applications in sectors like power, biomedical, transportation, and energy. Students will gain insight into surface degradation mechanisms such as wear, corrosion, and erosion, and learn to analyze failure behaviors in industrial components, preparing them to apply surface engineering techniques effectively in real-world scenarios.
