Objectives
After the course, students:
- understand the key concepts, terminology and the practical principles of statistical social research
- understand the standard principles of univariate and bivariate analysis
- are also familiar with the theoretical and practical aspects of multivariate analysis
- are independently able to conduct a descriptive scientific research report, summarize data using descriptive statistics and able to apply bivariate methods in practice
- are familiar with scientific writing as well as reading quantitative studies
