The self-study course is intended for all doctoral researchers (from all faculties, all disciplines) at the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. It offers participants professional development in skills related to seeking, managing, and evaluating information. Students will acquire general research skills such as effectively finding and managing scientific information, evaluating publications and publisher reliability, and understanding publishing practices. Once course registration has closed and students have been accepted to the course, the teachers will send a welcome letter with instructions, including how to enrol in the Moodle area.
