The students achieve in-depth understanding of what is the role of images of futures in human life and how they can be studied and analysed. Students comprehend the connections between anticipation, futures consciousness, futures literacy, memories, images of futures and heritage futures. They understand the role of these phenomena in human life in relation to time and space including nature, and how these concepts can be used to analyse future thinking among individuals as well as within larger groups.
