Objectives
After completing the course, students will understand the basic concepts, mechanisms and principles of cybersecurity and the role and importance of cybersecurity in the information society. Students will understand the key cybersecurity risks, where the threats to security come from, and will be aware of secure ways of working both in their studies and in the wider information society. Through practical exercises, students will learn how to use key tools and methods to detect and prevent various cyber and cybersecurity threats.
The course strengthens the following working life skills: creativity, multi-professionalism, problem solving skills, information and communication technology skills and communication skills.
