Objectives
Student understands the basic concepts and critical aspects of optical systems, instrument design and construction in the context of instrumentation in astronomy (mainly), and physics; obtains the knowledge of advanced techniques in light analysis and the relevant cutting-edge instruments; performs simple optical design and analysis and subsequently incorporate relevant non-optical components.
