Objectives
In this course the student gets a deeper understanding of the trajectory of reading development and reading difficulties from kindergarten to higher education on a practical level. Moreover, the student acquires theoretical grounding for reading assessments and interventions and learns to understand the psychosocial effects of reading difficulties. Finally, the student learns to understand the role of a speech therapist in alleviating reading and writing problems.
