Objectives
After the course the student will
- understand the foundations of various areas of computing and their connections to one another
- realize different dimensions of communication made possible by computing
- be able to form an overall picture on the history of computing
- be motivated to learn the methods and approaches of computing
- be able to understand the content of later studies as a part of a larger whole
The course strengthens the following working life skills: creativity, multi-professionalism, problem solving skills, information and communication technology skills and communication skills.
