Welcome to Pre-DP Physics at Turun normaalikoulu!
This course introduces you to the key ideas, methods and skills used in physics and prepares you for further studies in the IB Diploma Programme.
We will investigate physical phenomena through observations, measurements, experiments and mathematical models. You will practise interpreting graphs, analysing data, evaluating measurement uncertainties and explaining your reasoning using appropriate scientific language. The course also helps you develop your English physics vocabulary and problem-solving skills.
This Moodle area contains lesson materials, assignments, laboratory instructions, homework, revision resources, deadlines and announcements.
The emphasis is on active learning, curiosity and collaboration. You are encouraged to ask questions, test your ideas and learn to think and work like a physicist.
