Tavoitteet
This course is designed for students with no previous or very limited knowledge of the Korean language. The objective of the course is to equip students with communicative skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing at a basic level in Korean.
Through various instructional materials, students will learn basic grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation, reading, listening, writing, and culture. Students will be able to introduce themselves, talk about objects, places and locations, know numbers, order at a coffee shop and restaurant, tell time, ask and answer simple questions about everyday activities etc.
By the end of the course, students will be able to understand and speak Korean in simple everyday life situations. Students will also be able to read and write Hangeul. This course corresponds to level A1.1 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for languages) and level 1 of TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean).
