Objectives
Students learn about the most important political, economic and social developments in the region and understand its role in international politics. They become familiar with the political systems of the individual countries and recognize the basic characteristics of the Nordic model of society. They can differentiate the diverse phases and forms of political, economic, social and cultural regionalization between and among the Nordic and Baltic countries.
