Objectives
By the end of the course, researchers understand the elements that make up a grant proposal, are aware of the differing levels of information needed by different audiences, are able to write concisely, persuasively and accurately using an appropriate academic style, and understand the grant application writing process.
Kurssialue tarjoaa kootusti perehdytystä ja työkaluja uusille esihenkilöille ja tiiminvetäjille esihenkilötyöhön. Kurssialueella käsitellään esihenkilötyön kokonaisuutta ja lisätään osaamista esihenkilötyön ja johtajuuden eri osa-alueilla. Lisäksi selkiytetään esihenkilön roolia ja käydään läpi esihenkilötyöhön liittyviä keskeisiä velvoitteita. Tavoitteena on tukea erityisesti päivittäisiä henkilöstön ja työyhteisön johtamisen taitoja.
The course area offers a comprehensive orientation and tools for new supervisors and team leaders to help them in their managerial work. The course introduces the different areas of leadership. It clarifies the role of supervisor and goes through the key obligations of supervisor work. The goal is to support especially daily personnel and work community management skills.
Suoritettuaan ko. opintojakson opiskelija tuntee nykyisen Espanjan valtion murrejaon ja murteiden tärkeimmät kielelliset erityispiirteet mm. suhteessa Espanjan vähemmistökieliin, kuten asturo-leonés, aragonés jne. Opiskelija omaa myös Amerikan (Pohjois-, Väli-, Etelä-Amerikan) espanjan varianttien syntyhistorian, kielellisten piirteiden ja nykyisen sosiolingvistisen tilanteen melko syvällisen tuntemuksen tarkasteltujen aineistojen perusteella. Hän tuntee niin ikään Euroopan ja Amerikoiden ulkopuolisella alueella puhutun espanjan levikin ja keskeiset piirteet.

Recent developments in Ukraine have evidenced the complexity of EU-Russian relations. At the same time, these developments have long and deep historical roots and, thus, cannot be understood without a proper understanding of historical, cultural, (geo-)political and ideological foundations of the Europe-Russia complex. This course seeks to improve the participants' understanding of the foundations of this complex relationship by combining different analytical approaches with in-depth empirical discussions.
Objectives
After the course the student knows:
- the key concepts of cell culture bioprocess engineering
- the properties of the most common mammalian production hosts used in industry
- the basis of genetic engineering of mammalian and other eukaryotic host cells
- the key bioprocess operations, equipment and facilities used in high-volume cell cultures
- the most significant products manufactured using eukaryote hosts
