After this course, students will have developed a deeper knowledge of academic vocabulary and terminology used in scientific and biomedical texts. In addition, they will have developed their reading skills by analysing the structure of journal articles and will have used reading strategies in order to summarise texts orally and in writing. Students will also have learned digital strategies to support their ongoing studies in English and utilised formal and informal speaking through small group discussions and presentations.
