Tavoitteet

Tavoitteena on syventää opiskelijan tietämystä genetiikasta, erityisesti molekyylitasolla, sekä antaa opiskelijalle hyvä käsitys genetiikan eri osa-alueista.

Objectives

The course covers the practices of green programming and related concepts. It explores how to measure and optimize system energy consumption as part of software development. The goal is for the student to be able to identify key factors of energy consumption in a web application, apply their learning as part of a software development project, and design software systems to be energy-efficient after completing the course.

Opiskelija ymmärtää tutkimusmenetelmien peruskäsitteet.
Opiskelija tuntee erilaisia aineiston keruu- ja analyysimenetelmiä ja ymmärtää minkälaiset metodiset ratkaisut soveltuvat eri tutkimusasetelmissa ratkottaviin tutkimusongelmiin.
Opiskelija tunnistaa aineiston analysoinnin perusmenetelmiä.
Opiskelija osaa arvioida tutkimuksen luotettavuutta ja eettisyyttä.
Opiskelija osaa sekä itsenäisesti että yhteistyössä muiden opiskelijoiden kanssa analysoida kriittisesti, soveltaa ja arvioida hoitotieteellisen tutkimuksen metodisia ratkaisuja.

The course focuses on the four partakers of interactive storytelling: the platform, the designer, the interactor, and the storyworld. When constructing a platform, the problem is to select an appropriate approach from tightly controlled to emergent storytelling. On this platform, the designer is then responsible for creating the content (e.g. characters, props, scenes and events) for the storyworld, which is then experienced and influenced by the interactor. The structure and relationships between these partakers is explained from a theoretical perspective as well as using existing interactive storytelling systems as examples.
