Objectives
The student is familiar with the central theories of second/foreign language acquisition.
The student is able to compare and contrast the theories, understanding the limitations and affordances offered by each theory.
The student is familiar with the factors that affect the acquisition process.
The student is able to understand and discuss processes connected to language learning.
Objectives
After completing this course, the students should be able to understand basic values in thermodynamics and heat transfer, analyze objects and processes from the subject’s point of view. The student will learn two of the basic subjects in physic – thermodynamics and heat transfer. With understanding of laws and principles, supported by exercises, students will also be able to solve practical technology problems and analyze engineering equipment from efficiency point of view, based on both thermodynamics analyze and heat transfer analyze.
Objectives
• Can translate a research plan into a practical implementation
• Can share the translation of a research plan into a practical implementation with others
• Develop their capacity to identify and formulate questions that are relevant for their progress
• Develop their capacity to engage in meaningful and constructive scientific conversations that are initiated by themselves or others
• Recognize the value of sharing and engaging for their own and other students’ development
• Can translate constructive feedback from others into short term (e.g. thesis) development
Objectives
After completing the course, the student will be able to present their own research to an academic audience and provide constructive feedback on scientific research.
