Objectives
After the course, students will be familiar with various conceptual, normative, and empirical approaches to justice in the context of climate change and climate policy, and understand the concepts of intergenerational justice and just transition. The course will enable students to critically assess the ways in which abstract notions of justice materialize at different levels of climate policy-making.
This course introduces students to low-power wireless communication technologies, as well as IoT system architecture and security considerations. By the end of the course, students will have gained the necessary knowledge on the building blocks of IoT system architecture, comparing relevant protocols, networking technologies, and security solutions that allow them to make correct design choices and tradeoffs based on application requirements.
Tavoitteet
Students gain an overview of the comparative and international education field. They will become familiar with theoretical and methodological approaches and current critical questions in the field. They gain knowledge on analysing comparative data and studies as well as conducting comparative educational research in the age of globalization. Students learn group work skills.
