The course focuses on understanding the basics of electroencephalography (EEG) and event-related potentials (ERP) technique. After the course, students will understand the mechanisms of EEG signal generation, principles of artefact rejection, filtering and data analysis in research. The emphasis will be laid on the ERP technique. Students will be able to design, conduct and analyse simple ERP experiments.
