Learning outcomes: The participating student develops an understanding regarding the major theoretical perspectives on supply chain management (incl. the so called grand management theories), enabling the student to consider the possible theoretical framing and underpinnings of one’s own research.

Content: The course covers the major theoretical perspectives on operations and supply chain management.

Form of teaching: No lectures, independent study

Instructions for taking the course: The course includes two elements: (1) written examination of the literature (collection of articles), 4 cr; (2) a 10-15 page report on the relevant theoretical perspectives regarding student’s own research area, 2cr.
