The aim of the course is to give the student the basic collection of
skills, tools and methods to be used in managing information systems
(IS) development projects. This is a fully virtual course. The course
comprises five weekly group discussions in a virtual learning
environment, concentrating on different topics in IS project management,
and an individual assignement returned at the end of this course. Passing
all five discussions is mandatory. In order to have a possibility to
pass this course you need to be able to read 3 scientific articles/week,
and read and contribute to group discussions actively (min. 5 messages
posted in 3 different days of each week) during weekdays (Mon->Fri)
of the first 5 weeks of period II. Please consider carefully your
other workload during Oct/Nov, before you register to this course. The
course is no longer compulsory for students majoring in information
systems.
