The aim of the course is to give the student the basic collection of
skills, tools and methods to be used in managing information systems
(IS) development projects. This is a fully virtual course. The course
comprises four weekly group discussions in a virtual learning
environment (Weeks 1-4), concentrating on different topics in IS project management,
a group assignment on Week 5, and an individual assignement returned at the end of this course (Week 6-7). Passing
all four discussions is mandatory. In order to have a possibility to
pass this course you need to be able to read 3 scientific articles/week,
and read and contribute to group discussions actively (min. 3 messages
posted in 3 different days of each week) during weekdays (Mon->Fri)
of the first 4 weeks of period II. Please consider carefully your
other workload during Oct/Nov, before you register to this course.
