Based on the learning objectives the students obtain a deeper understanding of the reasons behind this phenomenon and learn to apply critically various theoretical lenses to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), evaluate the strategies, motives and integration approaches related to various M&As, critically evaluate the cultural differences in cross-border M&As, and acquire the capability to independently recommend an post-acquisition integration strategy for managers. This course has a strong emphasis on real-life cases, and students are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge on a case study. Students are given the opportunity to improve their skills in debating in class rooms and in academic writing. It is recommended that students have completed their Bachelor Thesis before attending this course.
