Objectives

The student understands the levels and tasks of IT management, and the content of ITG and ITSM. They know what the typical IT services are and understands the challenges and requirements in providing and managing those services. They understand the influence of business strategy and the nature of the company on IT strategy and IT services. They understand relationships and alignment between IT function and other business functions. They have basic knowledge on relevant models of this field presented both in the literature and in standards (e.g. ISO) and frameworks (e.g. ITIL).
