Objectives
The aim of the course is to make the participating student fluent in the fundamental concepts and tools of purchasing and supply management, and to develop student's rudimentary analytical and decision making skills related to purchasing and supply management.
Content
Topics such as the sourcing process and strategy, make-or-buy decisions and outsourcing, supplier evaluation, total cost of ownership, international sourcing, and supply risk management will be discussed through lectures and field cases. Exercises include case-assignments and a simulation.
