After the course, the doctoral researcher will be able to edit a draft article into a finished one: decide and narrow down the appropriate scope of the topic for the article, define the research question and key concepts, write a scientific text, accept and provide peer feedback, and find key journals in their field. The doctoral researcher will, within the time frame of the course, also acquire the skills to evaluate and respond to referee comments. They will progress in their dissertation work.

The participants will gain an understanding of the plurality of ontological, epistemological and methodological approaches that can underpin business research. They will learn to reflect their own philosophical disposition and understand the importance of identifying their own perspective and the merits of philosophically aligned research. They will also familiarize themselves with the key concepts necessary for articulating and arguing for their chosen approach, and learn how to deepen their own philosophical thinking if interested.

The student is familiar with the theories and key themes in venture creation and is able to compare and parallel them to experience-based view of entrepreneurship. The student is able to consider and analyse key issues in starting and running ventures in different contexts. The student identifies individual, organizational and environmental factors influencing venture creation. After the course the student abilities for academic work will have enhanced.

Students will recognise entrepreneurship as a wider phenomenon than starting a business. The course will develop students' capacity to create activities that contribute to the well-being of individuals, communities and the planet. By the end of the course, students will have first-hand experience of understanding economic, social and ecological challenges and of developing and testing new solutions that enhance well-being. At the same time, the course will develop students' skills in designing different ways of implementing solutions. The course will also develop students' teamwork, project management, communication and networking skills. The skills acquired during the course can be used in a variety of ways in working life, for example as a manager in a future-oriented company, as a business owner, or as an expert in a non-profit organisation.

They can also analyse and design business models to create, deliver and capture value. Course Audience and Objectives
This course is designed to meet the specific needs of second- and third-year Chinese major students who are preparing for advanced-level writing tasks in academic and professional contexts. It offers guided practice in writing across key Chinese genres, helping students build fluency, stylistic control, and rhetorical awareness.
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
· Write clearly and effectively in a range of genres using advanced vocabulary and grammar.
· Use appropriate structures, tone, and rhetorical strategies for different writing tasks.
· Describe people, events, and places in vivid, detailed language.
· Present arguments and explain social phenomena logically and clearly.
· Format formal documents such as applications and emails using correct conventions.
· Revise and improve their own writing based on feedback.
